Offense
Disc on Open Side A
kaizhangDisc starts static on open side. Opponent plays person defense. This is the ideal scenario from starting disc on the open side. All throws are easily executed open side throws. The play ends with either us scoring, or making a vert stack in the endzone.
Offense
Beating the wall
cvazquezThe key to beating the wall is to work the disc up slowly, and take advantage of well-timed cuts. We must keep one player in iso (isolation) and cycle out who is in iso as we move the disc. Recognize opportunities to move the disc closer with swings, and find holes in the wall for well-timed cuts in the endzone.
Offense
4s Vert Stack
cvazquezThe vertical stack gives us some more options for an offensive play that's different from the box. The idea is to allow for continual play after the first throw to ensure that we keep possession with high pressure cuts to potentially score a point in a few throws.
Offense
Gamma
cvazquezThis play is essentially the second handler (2) making a deep strike. 3 and 4 can support with well-timed in cuts, and availability for a swing/bail throw.
Offense
Beta
cvazquezBeta is essentially allowing the cutters free rein of the field, with a second handler staying back for a bail or swing.
Offense
Alpha
cvazquezAlpha box play for fours. The idea is to leave the field open for key cuts in at the right time, to strike deep when the opportunity is open, and be prepared to fill in as swing when you're needed.
