  1. Agreement to Terms
    By accessing or using Playspedia, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and paying members.
  2. Description of Service
    Playspedia is an online platform for creating, sharing, and managing sports plays and playbooks. We offer both free and premium membership tiers. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice.
  3. Accounts
    You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
  4. Payments & Subscriptions
    Paid memberships are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe. Playspedia does not directly store or process your payment card information. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the applicable rate until you cancel. Prices may change with reasonable notice.
  5. Cancellation & Refunds
    You may cancel your membership at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We offer a full refund within 30 days of a new membership, no questions asked. Refunds outside this window are provided at our discretion.
  6. User Content
    You retain ownership of any content you create on Playspedia (plays, playbooks, diagrams, etc.). By posting content, you grant Playspedia a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the service. You are solely responsible for the content you create and must not upload anything that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.
  7. Acceptable Use
    You agree not to: use the service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service; interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure; scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data without permission; or impersonate any person or entity.
  8. Intellectual Property
    The Playspedia name, logo, website design, and original content are the property of Playspedia and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without written permission.
  9. Disclaimer of Warranties
    Playspedia is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
  10. Limitation of Liability
    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Playspedia and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Playspedia in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  11. Indemnification
    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Playspedia and its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.
  12. Privacy
    Your use of Playspedia is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
  13. Support
    Premium members receive support for issues and bugs. We will do our best to respond in a timely manner but cannot guarantee any specific timeframe for resolution.
  14. Termination
    We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including liability, indemnification, and governing law) will remain in effect.
  15. Changes to These Terms
    We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the website or by email. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
  16. Governing Law
    These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
