EndZone
ISO
tommybradycarpenteriso play that is more common with most teams. simple, easy, essentailly the shorter dominator offense
Defense
Vert Defenses
tommybradycarpenterjust because we never practice the various stacks in ultimate, here is a simple guide for positioning vert, split, dominator, sideline stacks
Other
zone
tommybradycarpenterthis is my high school's rendition of the zone, different from carthage but in my opinion the most effective zone against GOOD PLAYERS. In this level of play you have to expect players that can do every throw possible, break the tightest defense and establish a overall dominance over us. This zone will be (in my opinion) best against dominate teams, try my best to go over offense and defense.
Defense
Bracketing
tommybradycarpenterGood communication required. bracketing is a zoneish defense where 2 defenders communicate to guard players cuting and returning to the stack. idea is to focus on defenders strengths (deep and under)
Offense
Old school
tommybradycarpentersimple play, works best in vert stack but yet to see fail in ho stack. idea is to score quick, establishing dominance as well as findings good defenders both deep and under defenders. never mind defense in first couple steps.
Drills
Handler Conditioning Drill
Goucher UltimateThis is a form of shuttle run designed to reflect the cutting motion of a handler making an attacking or reset dump cut. This is NOT a full field drill, but I enlarged it for this demonstration. All cones should be about 5-7 yards apart. ~~~All colored dots are cones, and the disc (D) is the runner~~~
EndZone
Warrior
Dartse8Out of a time out you can easily set up this play for a quick score. (1) and (2) create space for (3)'s cut.
Offense
Steal
Dartse8Deep Huck play to isolate/create a 1vs1 situation. Can catch a man defense sleeping. (1) goes deep from the break side. Handler puts the disc in open space.

Vertical Stack Spacing Drill
RobbieSA simple drill to teach players the basic spacing for the stack, where the cuts go, and where to clear to.

Basic throwing drill
andrewcertainVery simple throw and cut drill. Note that in this drill, the blue circles are the drill participants and the red circles are discs. I drew this up for my 3rd-graders.
