Step by step 17 steps
  1. Step 1

1, 2, and 3 are handlers (also the cup for defense), 4 and 5 are poppers (and the wings), 6 and 7 are deeps(short and deep, respectively).

  2. Step 2

I'm going to show the deep action first, it's not horribly complex, but you do need to keep moving as it not only keeps defensive #7 honest and back, but makes 4 and 5 move as well.

  3. Step 3

With the disc on your side, the cut is underneath for the play side deep and away for the back side.

  4. Step 4

Now across and in a triangle if the disc stays on the same side. If it swaps sides, just remember - come to the disc on my side, go away from it on the far side.

  5. Step 5

    Keep cycling

  6. Step 6

eventually, good things happen. open space is can be created. Next slide goes back to the "original" position.

  7. Step 7

Our goals: 1. Smart throws, 2. Keep the disc moving, 3. Wear down the cup to create space. In this frame, the swing to hander 3 is open, and they aren't pressed to the sideline. We'll take it.

  8. Step 8

There's the up-the-line to 7, but it's not a smart throw. cup still isn't set, let's swing the disc back.

  9. Step 9

swing pass to 2 means that hey' are still not set in the cup, pass to 1.

  10. Step 10

pass got to 1 and the deep has responded with a cut in. 4 is kind of open in space, but the short is selling out to make it a difficult throw. Refer to goals: smart throws.

  11. Step 11

options. popper #5 can crash here and likely have an open grab - or if the defender gets suckered into that then we have another easy throw to the middle, and an opportunity to force some more running out of the cup.

  12. Step 12

wisely, we took the second option. Next throw is to the open space since the defense is now out of position.

  13. Step 13

This is now a 4v2 and help for defensive #5 is way too far away to matter. Move quickly, but make the throws simple and don't get in a rush to score.

  14. Step 14

Everyone on the opponent side is in scramble mode. Easy passes.

    O1O2O3O4O5O6O7D1D2D3D4D5D6D7
  15. Step 15

    Easy passes.

    O1O2O3O4O5O6O7D1D2D3D4D5D6D7
  16. Step 16

If we get stuck on a throw, not a big deal. just work the reset and get the disc moving again.

    O1O2O3O4O5O6O7D1D2D3D4D5D6D7
  17. Step 17

following the dump, don't give time to reset - swing it quickly to break the cup. At this point, they're likely to call "crumble" meaning that they're going to a man defense, picking up the nearest player. We're back to having a mismatch, but when you hear the crumble call we'll default to a non-zone offense.
