Drills
Substitution, open to break
anthonylychoongThis drill is to show us that we can make the offense more flexible. Usually when handlers get involved in offense, 1 will go for the strike and the other will go for the around. But, an alternative way is that one handler strikes and occupies the position of the mid (no.6). Then, no.6 will cut towards the opposite direction of the handler that went for the strike. Subsequently, open to break cuts from the other mids continues the offense. This ensures that the disc is still being progressed further up the field towards the opponents' end zone, albeit in another way.

Offense

Cup DRILL

Drills
Hucking drill
anthonylychoongSupporting play when huck is received. This maintains the flow of the offense when play is near the end zone. This is because when a huck is received near the endzone, naturally everyone will progress up the field to continue the offense. If support comes fast enough, the defence may not be able to catch up and cover. Hence, it becomes an advantage for the offense. If defender 6 catches up, No.6 will have to fake him off to gain separation from defender 6. The supporting player (No.6) is not necessarily the one to provide the support. It can be one of the other players as well who can provide it by following closely behind. No.7 may not necessarily be the one going deep. It can be someone else as well, depending on the situation.
