5-Cone Drill

Players will run through the cones as indicated, making sure to circle AROUND all of the cones (3->4->3->5->3->6->3) before making it back to cone 2. Set cones about 10 yards away from one another. 3 sets of sprints, 6 sets of shuffling (3 for each leading foot), 3 sets of back pedaling, 1 set of sprints.

Cones should be set apart at 5-yard intervals. When cutting to a cone make sure to plant and change direction as fast as you can.
