To be used in a dead disc situation (turnover, timeout, etc.) when we're close to our end zone. 3 handlers out, 4 cutters stacking from the back of the end zone. Handlers will call a NAME and a NUMBER. This should done loudly, and always be done at least a few seconds before the handler is ready to throw.
As Gary approaches the disc, he shouts "DUSTIN ONE". This means Dustin will be cutting directly to corner one. Dustin makes the cut but doesn't receive the disc.
Dustin clears back to the stack and Gary immediately looks for a dump from Ethel. But Ethel can't get free either!
Ethel clears out of the way and Anne, as the front of stack, provides a fill cut. Fred will move to the stack.
Let's reset. If Gary had instead called "FRED THIRTY", it means Fred will need to set up a cut with the aim being to get free at corner three.
Fred sets up his cut...
... And then heads to corner three where the throw awaits him.
When the disc is on the sideline, always consider calling the middle dump as the first cutter, and failing that, get the disc back towards the middle of the field.
