andreliemHere's a drill that my son (6-7 age group) was doing at his lessons today which was great for practicing basic dribbling and defensive skills. Also gives the kids some practice at judging distance.

Sean GaiBasic vert stack principles The person at the front of the stack (blue 2) should set the stack 10-15 yards away from the handlers (blue 1 and 3) and slightly to the break side to open up a wider force side cutting lane. The off-handler (the one without the disc, blue 1) should set up on the break side to avoid clogging the force side.

psrugby12 drifts away from 10, calls for ball repeatedly. 13 scoops around 12 and hits the gap between 10 and 12. 10 pops him the ball. OR If D12 doesn't drift, 10 can pass across to 12.

Marking Drill
SixPackMarking drill to teach players about positioning and timing to stop Insides and Arounds. Communication from teammates is important. Generally, step to the inside for 1 second, then shuffle hop to the around to stop the around then back to normal marking position.
