Offense

The Higgins

Buccaneer451

Higgins' only offensive play. Anything else is just unnecessary.

Defense

Clam Trap Zone Defense

Buccaneer451

This is a clam zone but it is used for when it isn't very windy at all. The goal is to force to a sideline and then set a trap on the handler. Hopefully a cutter catches it near the sideline which would make the trap more effective because of his lack of throwing ability.

Defense

Clam Zone Defense

Buccaneer451

A zone that forces a number of passes. In this zone, we force the handlers to throw side to side and stop the up field passes. This is only used for very windy games, otherwise, the zone will get shredded up the middle.

Defense

Gator Bait Defnese

Buccaneer451

This is a defensive junk set thrown when your team turns the disc over out of bounds or when there is a turnover near the sideline. Setup needs to be quick and is used against a vertical stack.

EndZone

Endzone Triangle Offense

Buccaneer451

When in the "redzone" on offense, it is important to keep the throwing lanes clear. This is best done with a simple 3 man give and go which include the 1 and the two dumps out of a vertical stack.

Offense

Double Side Stack Offense

Buccaneer451

The double side stack is to create an ISO under cut from 1 in the stack who then dishes to a handler who then hucks it deep.

Offense

Horizontal Basic Flow Offense

Buccaneer451

The horizontal stack is setup. Option routes are made and other offensive players have to make cuts based off of previous cutters' routes. Awareness is a necessity.

Offense

Vert. Break/Huck Offense

Buccaneer451

Starting from the pull, the handler breaks to 1, gets a pop out pass and then hucks it deep.

Offense

Sex Tiger

This was a cut that a buddy of mine and I used to play all the time. It works precisely because the initial cut is not a particularly good option, but it puts you in an excellent position to escape your defender either to the force side, if they commit, or to the break side or downfield if they don't fall for it. Use it when you're a handler to the strong side of the thrower, but your defender isn't letting you get swings.

Drills

Spawn box drill

dm2clark

Warm-up drill. The blue guys are actuall just discs. Disc #2 goes back and forth between the NE and NW corners, and the other discs basically stay on their respective corners. I showed it through a full cycle and a bit. It basically repeats from there.
