Swart1123583 Players up front will rotate positions as necessary for there to always be a mark towards the side-line, a defender in the 'forced space' (stop mostly inside), and a defender on one of the dumps. There is almost always a free dump player but the mark is to ensure the throw to them should be a break. The three acting as Marks (Main, Inside, Dump) change positions as necessary to ensure no quick continuation movement and to adjust as necessary to make options difficult. The next three players work together in the midfield. Two main wings will stop the poppers, they can almost mark them full time preventing any under movement (staying between them and disc), this is necessary with only a single mark and cup player making throws into the middle easier than usual zone, so wings need to prevent this. A short deep will defend overhead throws to the deeps or poppers and can also signal the wings to move up into handler space to make swing throw interceptions if downfield is defensible.
