Endzone Drill
prairiesurgeThis is not a drill focused on good endzone offense, but that's the name it had when I was taught it and that what it's called. If you have any ideas for a better name let me know! 1. This drill is all about anticipation, setting up cuts, and throwing leading throws. 2. Do not stop running until the disc is in your hands. 3. All throws are to the outside of the field (indicated in the step description as Right Hand Backhand (RHBH) and Right Hand Forehand (RHFH.)

Zigzag give-and-go drill
prairiesurgeThis is a fast-paced drill designed to work on a handful of quick catches and throws as well as sudden changes in speed and direction. Points of focus: 1. Don't slow down until the disc is caught. 2. Backhands for everyone (you can try it with a flick but it will slow the drill down considerably.) 3. Be careful with slowing down and speeding up, sudden changes in speed and direction can cause injury. Make sure players are warmed up and ready before starting the drill. 4. When the first runner reaches halfway the second runner starts.

prairiesurgeSet up cones at the desired distance. Shorter is harder, longer is easier. 1. No upside down throws, focus on moving the defender with fakes. 2. Do not throw the disc until the mark is set up. 3. Jog (don't walk,) this is not a drill to work on conditioning.

2 person cutting/continuation drill
prairiesurgeThis is a drill to help us with the first several steps of a "dead disc" situation. "Dead disc" means we are starting with the disc after a timeout or turnover, giving us time to set up. I will add a continuation to this drill once we run it through a few times.
