Puffin
merlsSideline isolation. Cutters have creative freedom to get open in space for the trapped thrower. Downfield stack is a bit deeper than expected

Offense
Diamond
QCOUltimatePurpose & Flow: ✅ The break side wing initiates with a deep option to stretch the defense. ✅ The break side middle supports by threatening break side out and under — keeps the break lane open. ✅ The force side middle cutter hits a quick under to the force side, giving a safe look if the deep isn’t there. ✅ The force side wing holds width to keep their defender out of the lane and provide continuation or swing space. ✅ Handlers work the reset cake if no downfield option is open, then swing or hit continuation.

Defense
3-2-2 Junk Zone a.k.a Ran's Junk
QjoThis describes the general motion and flow of 3-2-3 Junk Zone against a Horizontal Stack which forces Middle and aims to clog traditional throwing lanes while the offense works hard for little or negative yardage. Middle Force: When forcing middle the person marking the disc should make sure to be flat and take away easy hucks. Blue is on offense and red on defense. Positions in the Zone are called on the line left-to-right then front-to-back with 1 being left-side handler D, 2 middle hander, 3 right; 4 is left side short, etc. Step 2 Disc swings right: Red (D) 1 needs to take away the up-line pass from 3 to 7 as this is the first option that beats the zone. The force is middle so we are okay if the disc moves back to 1. Red 2 slides over to take away the up-line cut by Blue 1. Red 6 should be communicating to Red 4 about who is coming into 4's Zone Step 3: Disc swings back to the middle for a loss (what we want in the Junk Zone)
