3-2-2 Zone defense
Goucher UltimateThis is not a zone that works well to stop short movement, but the two deep defenders and a force middle/straight help to prevent and pressure deep throwers and cutters. The sideline must communicate to the (4) and (5) defenders to help with cuts in the midfield. Like any zone, then the disc gets close to the attacking endzone they must break to a man-to-man defense as quickly as possible.
