Vertical Stack: Angling the Stack
adrianliemSometimes there's an advantage to tilting or angling the Vertical Stack, particularly if you want to create space down-field for a huck. Here is one way to angle the stack as the disc moves down and across the field.

Vertical Stack: Flow
adrianliemHere's a brief look at the basics of maintaining flow with a Vertical Stack.
Offense
2 Handler Zone O
adrianliemTypical Zone Offense involves 3 handlers back, spread across the field. But an alternative approach is to rely on 2 handlers, freeing up a player to help spread the field wider. With the 2 Handler set, 1 & 2 are the primary handlers, 3 & 4 are wings who can fill in as a third handler, 5 is the primary popper, and 6 is the continuation popper, with 7 as the deep threat. Handlers: Stay in the middle lane of the field, keep the disc moving and look for holes in the zone as the disc moves across the field. Wings: Start cutting from down-field to gain yards on the swing pass. Stay wide to help keep the field spread out. Poppers: Work together. Rely on one to be a primary popper, looking for the first break through the zone D, and the other to be the continuation. Deep: Be active in the back to help pull the middle of the Zone D back or out wide. Look for continuation cuts once the disc breaks through the holes. Here is a basic overview of what this looks like.
