Hybrid Zone
TSUcoachHybrid Zone 3 man cup, downfield man marking- forcing deep. You can see that this zone is meant to force lots of short backwards throws, or risky hucks. This gives the offense a choice of whether to take a loss of ground, or risk a turnover on a big ground gain. Downfield defenders MUST BE TIGHT and MUST stop any unders in order to make this zone work well.
