Offense
1-6 Vertical Stack
iannho95It is a variation of the vertical stack that aims to achieve two things. 1. It allows a more handler heavy play where the front of stack (FOS) can be isolated. 2. It negates defensive plays like Handler Force Middle and poachy defense as it opens up a lot of space under.
Offense
Horizontal Stack
iannho95Aim is to open up the under and deep space. Key pain point of a horizontal stack is clearing efficiently into the stack for both cutters and handlers. In a horizontal stack, because there's no 'front of stack' space for handlers to clear to, everyone in the line will play both roles interchangably.
Offense
Hexagon Rotation
ZachalousOne way to think about rotation in Hex. In this the shape is kept perfect each step, that is unlikely in game as the disc can move faster than a cut. This is just giving you shapes and forward thinking options in different scenarios. I can only do 6 steps so use your imagination for the finish, as there is not really a wrong answer.
Offense
Hexagon Orientations
ZachalousHex setup and orientations. This goes over the jargon one would use to communicate. Note this is not yet including play. Just start setup positioning.
