Offense
Vert stack
NemiThis is the vert stack we plan on running, remember to get behind the front person of the stack after your cut!

Offense
Bananas
ballsaBananas is a play that can be run anywhere, but is often used in the endzone or in a high stall count. It depends on the handler making an inside throw, and then utilizes that breakside space. It does not fare well against bracketing or zone coverage, but against man it is good.

Offense
Hurricanes/Apples
ballsaA fun and simple play to run out vert. 1 goes breakside deep, 5 comes openside under. Simple, fun, and often effective.

Defense
1-2-2 Forecheck
bruser23Goals: Force puck to be carried along boards in order to force a dump or a take away at the redline. ||| Forwards: Closet player to the puck - Pressures puck carrier towards the closest board. 2nd forward - denies pass up boards. 3rd forward - denies a middle lane pass. (We allow a pass behind the net) ||| Defense: 1st responsibility is no breakaways. Puckside dman- Create a triangle between two "off" forwards maintaining spacing and not allowing a quick pass through. Off-puck Dman- Play center ice behind blue line prepared for escapes and to chase dumps. ||| If we allow a center swing the play is off, both dmen shade towards the inside and we established a defensive zone.

Drills

nathandhufflooking for: 1. inverse pivots on the under so that you keep eye control with your give go partner 2. deep cuts down the middle of the field so we keep our angles so fresh and so clean 3. thrower's ability to get out of their throw quickly, and their ability to keep their weight balanced when hucking on the move
