Downfield Big Box
HorsleykcpGoal: To work on our downfield defensive positioning and buffer to effectively deny and contest Drill Set-Up: Player 7 starts the drill as our designated thrower. They will be throwing to players downfield. Players 1 on offense/defense will start in a large square downfield marked out by cones. Player 7 should be no more than 10 yds away from the closes set of cones. Player 1 on offense will attempt to catch either an under or deep. Player 7 will throw once Player 1 on offense has passed either through the closest set of cones (an under) or the deepest set of cones (a deep). Player 1 on defense should assess where they are weakest/strongest defending (either deep/under) and look to deny their weakness and contest their strength. Il y a donc de l'espace pour une passe. 2. Le soutien ne bouge pas, la passe est déclenchée créant alors une situation de break. 3. Le fond du stack peut alors proposer une continuité.
