Based on your teammate's capabilities, assess if they would be able to make that throw consistently. If the answer is no, as the off-handler, do not entice them to throw that. Do not set yourself up for failure! Rather, the break-side strike attempt should be meant to CREATE SPACE at the back for the swing (refer to step 5), and subsequently cutting back to get the easy open-side swing
