Defense

2-3-2 Force Side

Stag Coach

Zone D against huck-happy teams. Two man cup, three mids, and two deeps. Decide all positions and force before pulling.

Defense

2-4-1 Force Middle

Stag Coach

Low movement zone designed to push the offense into the middle of the field with a double mid-mid to allow aggressive plays. There are two marks, four mids, and one deep. Decide all positions before pulling. The mark needs to call direction on most every throw unless we stayed within the same third. The 2nd mark covers the easiest reset to the force side.

Defense

Box / Sponge Zone D

Stag Coach

This is an anti-pull play set to disrupt the opposing team's set play and then sink into person defense after X number of throws, often 3-6 throws. Decide on positions before pulling, 3 people are sponge to cover the handles and 4 people are box to cover downfield. Each position of each type should be planned before pulling.
