This is the jab cut the middle handler makes while the disc is all the way on the break side. This is to make room for an upfield cutter to reset the disc in the middle so the Ho Stack flow can restart.

shot gun is to reset the disc farther up the field and this is done by yelling shotgun from the handler position and then this clears everyone out of the butt space for the far broadside cutter to slash across and make a play.
