  2. Step 2

2 is marking straight up. Side handler defenders(1,3) are sagging into the lanes, horizontally close enough to not give huge gains when disc is swung to 1 and 3 but also far enough to recover when swing goes off. Second wall is keeping mind of both the disc and downfield, always between the disc and the people. playing positions not people, but pick up and follow people when they come in your area

  3. Step 3

as disc swings, 1 becomes mark. Will still mostly be straight up, but very eager to shift to force middle w/ fakes. 2 comes into the lane, working with 5 and 4 to cut off upfield throws. 3 is on the horizontal plane with the disc, going for the d if accessible but 1st priority is just to make the swing back to the middle a backfield throw (if middle handler on the opposite team goes backfield, 3 does not follow)

  4. Step 4

assuming this is a quick swing and we don't totally get set up

  5. Step 5

here, it is a bit up in the air who would take 5. I would prefer 4 to take him, and for five to run with b7 if he comes in (so that two can recover to the mark more easily if the swing goes off to b2)
