Scrape Cut

russellkatz35

Reset option when the primary dump is setup on the force side. The primary reset defender will likely look to poach the lane given the position of the reset relative to the rest of the offense. Recognizing and running the scrape cut early will take advantage of this and off us a breakside option

Offense

Backfield Dump

russellkatz35

Dump option with the primary reset playing directly behind the disc in the backfield. Quick direction in small spaces and using pump fakes to change direction make this look successful. If the dump defender is face-guarding then the pump fake should give them the opportunity to create enough space to reset the disc. If the dump defender is facing the handler then it should be easy to put the disc to space for the reset.

Offense

Sideline Initiation (Vert Stack Force Middle)

russellkatz35

Sideline initiation in a six stack offense when force is middle. Take easy throws to the middle of the field when they are there. If they are guarded, pump fake to tell the reset to change direction and take their cut "upline" to the break space. The inside and the around are options on that cut.

In the middle, openside handler mark marks tight after 4 stalls. The middle handler mark puts on an around stopping force (90 degree), but is very tight, so can wave and stick in a hand to take away wuick push pass pops from the thrower. They mainly stop the quick throw swing. The Far handler mark comes up field and takes the inside channel. The rover is more over to the openside, the wing handler mark takes the inside channel. The breakside wing handler mark will need to stop some crashes, so if there is a swing, we need to recover over to the wing the disc has been swung to, so the middle handler mark may be in a better position to recover to the wing after a crash. The wings, 5&6 work together, they pass people off to one another. and need to communicate with an aggressive rover and handler marks when guys are coming short.

Offense

Sideline Initiation (Vertical Stack Trap Force)

russellkatz35

Sideline initiation in a six stack offense when force is trap. This works the same way with the primary reset even with the disc. The angle of the cuts will change slightly but the concept/movement is the same. Possible calls: 12, 13, 23, 32 This play shows a "12" call where the primary cut is "1" in the stack and the secondary cut is "2" in the stack. "13" is the same design but with "3" in the stack as the secondary cut. If "1" is involved in the play, he has to be the first cut (i.e. no "21" or "31"). If "1" is not involved, he busts deep up the breakside.
