Step 1

The setup. Blue is in a standard punt formation and Red is in a standard block return formation.

Step 2

Seeing the punt block the punter sends a DE back to protect. Red then shifts both WRs and DEs back.

Step 3

The snap. Red blitzes the DTs, DEs, and CBs with the WRs falling back into zone coverage.

Step 4

The punt is made. Both WRs break their zones to play man coverage.

Step 5

Red opens a hole for the returner.

Step 6

The returner flies through the hole. Both guards are incapable of breaking the block.

Step 7

Touchdown.
