Step 1

The setup. Offense is in an empty trips formation and defense is in a 3-1-7 formation.

Step 2

QB sends HB out left past both WRs. Defense sends four of five CBs up. LB pushes back.

Step 3

The snap. Both TEs fall back for screens. Closest CBs press. DEs, DT, and LB split backwards. FS and SS blitz.

Step 4

Right guard and tackle block left to open hole for HB route. LB rolls out past right side to prepare for blocking a WR.

Step 5

HB breaks through hole and dashes for end zone. Right TE blocks CB off screen. LB cuts inside.

Step 6

QB passes to HB for touchdown.
