Step by step 6 steps
  1. Step 1

Have players line up on three tall orange cones (H=handlers, R=rails, M=mids). Line them up as shown so they can observe while in line and avoid getting hit or run over... The two receivers represent the left half of a full horizontal stack or receivers. The handler represents the center of three handlers in the standard H-stack.

  2. Step 2

Handler yells "Go!" and mid and rail start cuts simultaneously towards their respective cut location cones (I use a short orange cone for these).

  3. Step 3

Cutters chop feet at cutting cones and accelerate to open space. Optionally mark the open space with a different color short cone to help throwers target the open space, but these can cause cutters to stop at the cone rather than attacking the open space and (often late) throw.

  4. Step 4

Handler throws to cutting mid. Rail watches and adjusts cut speed & direction accordingly.

  5. Step 5

Mid catches in motion, plants, pivots, targets open space (again optionally marked with a cone), and throws a leading pass to the rail.

  6. Step 6

Handler goes to mid line. Mid clears at a sprint to rail line. Rail goes to back of handler line (carrying disc, NOT throwing it through/into the next iteration of the drill).
