When the disc is on the open side sideline, unless someone is wide open or we run SAILBOAT, the first look is to the middle handler.
If the middle handler is being poached, or can otherwise easily be open in the middle of the field, we will take this easy swing.
Generally, our first look will be an upline cut.
The middle handler goes hard upline and looks for a throw or a fake. Making this throw is great, and leaves us with a number of good options. The far side handler is starting to make his/her way across.
If a fake happens, the handler makes the 'ANTI' cut back to the middle of the field.
This throw is extremely advantageous for us, as we get it upfield, centered, on the break side of the mark.
If the anti throw does not come, the last handler MUST get the disc. Ideally, they will be able to get it near the middle of the field, but getting an easy backfield dump is better than a turnover.
(#5 finishes the cut and gets the reset)
