Step 2

Cutter 6 fakes a deep cut and comes under as the disc is thrown to his sideline. Timing is crucial in this position.

Step 3

If he receives the disc, he will look upfield for a quick throw, and then dump to a handler. If he does NOT receive it, he will cut deep. Notice that the backside cutter has cut deep for a possible throw from 2 or 6, and also to keep the defense honest by stretching the field.

Step 4

At this point he may be open for a huck. Also, the other cutter has begun his in cut in case the disc is swung to his side.

Step 5

Note that the reason he was open for the huck was that he took his defender in towards the disc and then beat him deep. He did not stand still and try to beat him off of a straight cut.

Step 6

If the disc is not thrown deep, it may be swung to the other sideline.
