This look is designed to meet with success against opposing team's O-lines, who do not spend as much time practicing their defensive looks. The D look here represents the strongest initial placement for a D against this set.
Pre disc-check, B1 should take as much time as possible in reading the D look, especially the handler D positioning. If the handler set is as represented here, the play call is STANDARD.
If the r2 is sagging into the lane (or presenting any easier opportunity to center the disc), AUDIBLE out of STANDARD.
Center the disc and run Ho.
To initiate STANDARD, b5 and b4 make deep, purposeful diagonal cuts.
When they vacate the open space (presumably with their defenders), b6 comes across on a lateral SLASH cut.
From here b4 is the deep continuation, and b5 is the lateral attack back across the field.
Obviously we want to demoralize our opponents by scoring on a deep shot (b6-b4), but hitting the attack (b6-b5) and then hitting b4 for a goal is ok, too.
