Handler defenders sprint down on the pull
Handler D clearly poaches. D4 or D7 can take their time coming down the field in order to stop hucks
poach 3-2-2 falls into place. D2 and D3 make it clear they are poaching in the lanes. D5 and D6 fill in the gaps. They want to stop over-the-top throws and easy throws from the sideline handlers upfield
Like so^. O1 will likely swing when offense realizes first option is shut down. D4 or D7 take away deep looks. Whoever has a better angle. D6 should take away incuts about 10-20 meters away from the disc, so he gives O6 to D3 and D1 here so that he/she can take away O7
D3 gets around on the mark, but D6 is there to stop an upfield gainer
Force middle and continue to poach lanes. Far poach (D2) can put a little pressure on O1
D1 stops hucks and easy under lanes. D5 is wary of crossfield throws and doesn't cheat in too much. ALMOST looks like a cup here. If there's a deep threat, D6 and D5 can help with the remaining cutters.
disc is swung and D5 and D6 stop any poppers. Keep your head on a swivel!
D5 pressures upline throw. D6 gets ready for other popper, but is wary of hammers. D7 makes sure he/she is the last person back
defense can be beat with good handler movement
anyone around should stop easy hucks from handlers in stride. D5 here.
transition to man and stop dangerous throws. (D7 can help with this.)
