Step by step 8 steps
  1. Step 1

Set up like in a standard come to, go away drill. IMPORTANT NOTE: If throwers at any point during the drill beat the mark, they are free to throw. We don't want people to think they are marking well if they really aren't.

  2. Step 2

1 cuts to the force side. Mark shifts over to contest the force throw heavily.

  3. Step 3

1 starts to cut back breakside. Here, 2 has to JUMP OVER TO THE BACKHAND SIDE TO STOP THE BREAK.

  4. Step 4

Now 3 brings it back for the inside break to a still cutting 1. At this point if the other throws have been shut down, the thrower is throwing here no matter what. 2 backs off to try and shut down the inside lane and make a play.

  5. Step 5

Thrower attempts to get it by the mark if he hasn't already done so. Hopefully our mark gets a D. If not, we get a break throw off and our handles did a good job working through progressions.

  6. Step 6

Same thing with the mark now cutting.
