  1. Step 1

To start off, defense pulls to offensive side

  2. Step 2

Remember that red is offense. This is the standard set up. Three handlers and four cutters.

  3. Step 3

Ideally, to get the disc up the field, we have cutters cutting in their respective lanes. We want u to cut up and down the field. If you are a cutter and the cutter next to you cuts towards the disc, cut the opposite way.

  4. Step 4

If the initial in cut does not work, the cutter will cut back out, and the cutter that cut outside initially, cuts back in and hopefully gets the disc

  5. Step 5

Preferably, only the two lanes closest to the handlers will cut towards the disc. However, handlers are not always able to throw the disc to a cutter. In that situation, we do something call the handler cut.

  6. Step 6

In simple terms, once the stall count is at 4, the handler should look towards dumping the disc. A handler cut could work as an up the line cut or a simple reset. A reset cut will look like this. One of the side handlers will cut up the line of the disc holder and immediately make a sharp cut back to create open space.
