Off the pull defenders 1,2,3 run down and put a cup-like defense in front of the #2 handler. #2 defender marks straight-up and #1 and #3 act as extensions of the mark and deny any inside-out upfield throws and force #2 to swing the disc wide/flat out to offense #1 or #3
Defenders 4,5,6 are to deny any IN cuts, especially that first one we always see. 4,5,6 have to also be prepared to cover any in cut that happens as a result of the #2 swinging it out to #1 or #3 when they have a few seconds unmarked. #7 should shift to side that the disc is swung to prepare for any immediate long throw down that line.
defenders 1,2,3 continue to maintain an inverted V off the disc (because we cannot double team) and deny basically any forward throw (except hammers). 4,5,6 have to continue to guard against IN cuts. They must stay between their marks and the disc and not get pulled too far out. They can choose to be matched up man to man as long as they keep an eye out for the unmarked Long that could charge IN
As they swing across 1,2,3 have to assume immediate full width swing and essentially run to their position around offense #3 and then only if offense #2 hesitates do 1,2,3 stop and collapse back on him.
Here they make the swing all the way. On its way back watch 1,2,3 as they aim for setting up on #1 but when #2 doesn't continue it defense 1,2,3 collapse back onto him while maintaining a wall
Nice dump, but our 1,2,3 are so fast they intimidate #2 and keep him from continuing the swing
Notice that the long defenders are staying between the offense players and the disc. Make them run through our wall only to find the thrower has his own wall he cannot throw through.
Bad throw forced into our defense
