Step 2

This defense is set with defender #1 always being on the mark and always forcing to the sideline. Defenders #2-5 create a wall while #6 and #7 will prevent anything from getting over the wall.

Step 3

When the frisbee is on the sideline the inside of the wall will shift down forming a pseudo cup. Defender #6 will move down closer to the wall in order to fill in some of defender #4 previous duty. The mark will prevent any throws directly across to the handlers and shade slightly back to prevent easy dumps.

Step 4

If an offensive cutter crashed through the wall then the middle defender is responsible with staying with the cutter

Step 5

When the disc is swung to the other side of the field the mark will trap the other sideline and defender #3 will go into the pseudo cup.
