The setup for this play is a regular ho stack.
The first step is for the force side middle cutter (here: cutter 6) to make a diagonal cut under. While players should always be looking for the disc to be thrown to them, the goal of this play does not involve hitting cutter 6 on his cut under.
As soon as cutter 6 has passed in front of him, cutter 5 also makes a diagonal cut under. When viewing this play live, it will look like two near simultaneous unders, with the force side cutter (cutter 6) cutting just before the break side cutter (cutter 5).
After cutting under, cutter 6 busts deep. Cutter 5 continues his under, and if open, can receive the disc.
If cutter 5 gets the disc, and cutter 6 has beat his defender, cutter 5 can loft a huck to cutter 6. If cutter 6 has not beat his defender, the play is over, and the disc can be continued or reset in the base offense.
If cutter 6 has really burned his man and/or handler 2 thinks he has a better shot at getting the disc to cutter 6, handler 2 can hold on to the disc and wait for cutter 5 to clear.
Once cutter 5 has cleared and taken his defender with him, thus clearing the lane, handler 2 can huck it to cutter 6 in the endzone.
In the event that neither cutter 5 nor cutter 6 get the disc, cutter 5 clears to the force side, where he should be at the end of his cut. Cutter 6 clears to the break side and returns to the ho stack, clearing the deep space.
Cutters 4 and 7 fill the middle, and the offense resumes. If it plays out this long, a handler reset is likely. Handler resets are covered in a separate play.
