This is the basic set up for the 3-4. In 3-4 cutters work in pairs-the active pair is dictated by whichever handler has the disc-the middle handler in this case so the middle two are active.
Player 5 was assigned leadership of the cutters beforehand so leads the middle pair and cuts in a diagonal shape-which player 6 mirrors
Neither are one so continue their movement such that they have swapped sides
On this occasion player 6 has got free-notice how the two have continued to cut in the same direction from before
Player 6 looks up and doesn't like his immediate continuation option from 5 so resets the disc to player 3 who has moved up the pitch-4 and 7 have moved up the pitch as well
Player 6 clears out to be part of the inactive pair-since 5 is the middle player he dictates which direction they go in
Whilst clearing out player 5, because he is looking over his shoulder whilst cutting receives a lead pass
There is no immediate continuation so player 5 resets the disc back to player 3 whilst the rest of the cutters get back in position
The disc is then swung to player 1-just so we can demonstrate what would happen on that flank
Player 6 leads the new active pair on tehe other side as he is in the middle-notice that the two other handlers have tried to ensure they are not ahead of the one on disc
Player 4 receives the disc and player 6 recognises a chance for an immediate continuation
Player 4 then puts it into space for player 6 to score off
