This is the basic zone setup - Red players 1,2, and 3 are the "cup", 1 is the mark, 2 is the apex and 3 is the off. 5 is the short deep, 6 and 7 are the wings, and 4 is the deep deep
The goal of the zone is to push the disc towards the force side and trap it there. The cup then shifts over to prevent backwards throws, the wing gets under his man and the short deep fills any gaps. The far side wing (6) poaches to take away over the top throws
If the disc does get through, the cup must catch up and reset as soon as possible to stop continuation throws
Same as step 3 - in addition I want to note that (3) and (5) need to be working together to eliminate all holes upfield
