Primaries begin setting up their cuts.

O4 is gonna get open for an underneath pass here,

O4 gets it.

First look is to see if his partner got open.. looks like O5 has separation!

And gets the deep pass!

Now what? O4 is way behind the play, and O5 has the disc. There are no primary options! This is where the secondaries (wings) need to be active!

Step 8

When the ho stack is set up and the disc is in the handlers hands, the Primaries own the field. When there's a completed deep pass, it's now the Secondaries that own the field. They can make ANY cut they want, to anywhere! Here, O5 can put the disc short to O6, or long to O7.

But just for the sake of illustrating the Horizontal offense, let's imagine that they choose to reset instead...

The disc goes back to the handler
