Step by step 12 steps
  1. Step 1

Vertical Center Stack setup; force flick. Notice: a) Handler O2 is set up on the break side. This prevents his defender D2 from being in the primary throwing lane. b) D3 is shading in a bit to prevent the easy two-step cut for O3. c) D7 is shading deep to not get beat on a huck.

  2. Step 2

Cutters from the front and back set up their cuts. Neither of them has a great opening, because of the good positioning the defenders keep.

  3. Step 3

O7 boulders inwards, and is cleanly, clearly open for a big gain. O3 has taken D3 out of the clutter. A couple of things can happen here...

  4. Step 4

... we can throw the 30 yard gain to O7. Safe play for a big gain, what's not to love?

  6. Step 6

... if O3 has a significant lead on D3, we can take the long shot

  7. Step 7

OR.. let's say both cutters are well defended..

  8. Step 8

They both get their butts back into the stack. Meanwhile two more cutters are setting up... (it can be any two.)

  9. Step 9

This time the thrower has options for both the open side and break side, depending on what his mark D1 is giving him.
