Step by step 3 steps
  1. Step 1

The play starts off a dead disc (i.e. after a timeout or a turnover). FOUR cutters line up in a vertical stack in the endzone, THREE handlers stay out of the stack/endzone. Still works if the disc is not in the center: either run the play as usual or center it.

  2. Step 2

The play is initiated by the second-to-last player in the stack: in this case #6. #6 makes a hard cut EITHER to the open side OR the break side, heading for the front cone of the endzone. AT THE SAME TIME, the LAST player in the stack cuts to the OPPOSITE SIDE, heading for the front cone.

  3. Step 3

If, somehow, the handler can't get it to either of the two cutters, the cutters go back to the front of the stack and the play is restarted with the two cutters now at the back of the stack.
