Step 1

(Force sideline) When offense is stuck on the sideline the mark calls out; "pretzel!" (loudly and appropriately echoed by the sideline).

Step 2

Mark steps around to stop the backward throw. Dump defender stops up the line cut. Front of stack defender steps far under and also stops inside out break. All other defenders focus on stopping under cuts.... ...except the back of stack who sags off a bit to nullify the huck-and-hope.

Step 3

Stack defenders may need to help out if back of stack cuts in.

Step 4

Dump cannot cut upline.

Step 5

Reset.

Step 6

Cutters cannot come under.

Step 7

Reset.

Step 8

Deep throws gobbled up by back of stack.

Step 9

Reset.

Step 10

As mentioned previously; if back of stack comes in then someone at the front of stack may need to help out.

Step 11

Reset.

Step 12

Hammer (or something of that ilk) may be an option for stronger throwers (be wary/vigilant).
