Often times we will find ourselves near then endzone but just can't seem to actually put the disc in the endzone. This endzone setup seeks to fix that problem by utilizing different preset cuts that attack different areas for multiple scoring opportunities. There are two main options for this set up. The player with the disc will have to call which play they want to run. It is preferential to have these plays called from a disc in the centre of the field, but it is possible to run these even if the disc is on the sideline.
Option 1 is to have the break side handler cut diagonally to the open side. This is generally the easiest option but will be shut down if 3 has a good handler defender.
If the cut is not available, that handler clears to the front of the stack while the previous front of the stack (4) cuts break side.
And then out to the handler position, if the throw to the break side is not made to him or her. At this point, the stall will be 4 or 5 so the handler should activate a dump to reset the stall count.
Option 2 is to have the front of the stack make the initial cut.
He or she will make a cut to either side. (Shown is an optional fake cut which is often useful)
While 4 is finishing their cut, the back of the stack will have to determine which side 4 is completing their cut on, and makes a cut to the other side of the field. In this case, since 4 faked open side then went break side, the back of the stack (7) will cut open side.
If neither option is open, reset the disc while 7 clears to the front of the stack and 4 clears to the back to wait for another play call.
