We are happy we get to pull cause we scored. and we pull. (next three steps all happen at the same time)
The cup will run down to surround the person with the disc. You must be at least 10 feet away from the thrower if you are not the person stalling. Notice we want to force the discs to one side of the field.
The next 3 people is the wall. They want to step up behind the cup but in front of the cutters. When the other team sees it is a zone they will set up in a Zone O.
The last person is the deep. Their job is to make sure the other team is in front of them and anything thrown deep they knock it down.
The O will want to "crash the cup" so their cutters (or Poppers) will try to run between the wall and cup. When that happens the cup needs to close that gap.
Since that throw isn't there they will swing to the open side handler. When that happens the cup runs as a group to the discs still forcing the same way. The wall shifts over. Notice most of the time the deep cutter will come in the person on the sideline wall will want to make sure that throw is cut off. The deep can shift to the other deep cutter.
If the disc gets to the other side of the field the cup has to run over there to put a mark on and the wall shifts. and the deep goes to the other side.
IF the disc goes to an up field cutter. the wall still wants to back off and have the cup be the mark.
They have to throw it so much they turn it over and we are on offense and looking to get some quick throws in.
We score and give high fives
And they are sad
