Pull
D1, 2 and 3 sprint down to guard handlers and pressure the first throw.
When the disc is centered and a HO is set up, 2 and 3 sag in the lines to show we are obviously poaching.
cutter defenders use their body to push offender into the poach in the center of the field. Sideline and defenders communicate to handler defenders where the cuts come from.
disc is swung. Our goal is to make this the only option.
D3 puts on a straight up mark with a slight force middle shade. D1 poaches the lane. D2 can choose to poach as well or yell "SNAKE" and guard O1. (Hint: Snake is better, especially in wind!)
Now we've ideally taken away the easy swing to the primary handler. D2 is going to play hard on O1 to make sure he can't get open easily.
D2 pushes the primary handler slightly upfield (looks a little like "Penghu," eh? D7 communicates the in cut to D1. D3 can keep a somewhat loose mark. (D6 realizes his offender isn't in a threatening position and can shift a bit.)
If O1 realizes he's not the man anymore and decides to clear out for O2, all the defenders assume the same roles.
a disc swing that loses yards is fine with us.
and when it's swung to the other side, we do the same SNAKE play.
unless they break the poach...then we fall into man.
