Vert Stack sets up as usual.

Step 2

Cutter 7 starts making their cut.

Step 3

Handler 1 throws a break throw to Cutter 3 (the Anchor).

Step 4

Cutter 3 only has a short time to throw before their defense catches them. Cutter 6 must see the break throw and immediately start running to the break side.

Step 5

Let's reset back to our starting position for a second example.

Step 6

Cutter 7 starts making their cut.

Step 7

Handler 1 throws a short pass to Handler 2 on the break side.

Step 8

Cutter 3 (the Anchor) sees this pass and immediately cuts to the break side. Cutter 6 should be aware of this too.

Step 9

Cutter 3 turns and can see Cutter 6 already moving downfield.
