Step 1

This is our basic offensive set up. The defender on the mark is forcing flick.

Step 2

The red lines indicate the cutting lanes that we want to keep clear in a vertical offense.

Step 3

Player 7 makes a cut from the back of the stack, by faking out and coming hard in towards the disc on an angle relative to the stack and the rest of the stack pushes slightly downfield to keep the spacing constant.

Step 4

If Player 7 does not get the disc, they clear directly back to the stack, not back through the cutting lane.

Step 5

Player 6 now makes the next cut from the bacl of the stack. First faking out

Step 6

Then Coming hard towards the disc. While the disc is in the air, player 5 sets up a continuation cut.

Step 7

And making a cut for player 6 once the disc is caught.
