Pull goes up and is centered to a main handler. Blue- Offense, Red - Defense
Zone comes down - The Points (1,2,3) set up with a flat force and two poaching in the lanes (forcing the offense to move the disc sideways). - The mids (4,5,6) look to set up blocking any under cuts. - The Deep (7) needs to be loud in communicating to the mids who is looking dangerous and likely to come under while also being aware and ready to make a play if a pull play goes up.
Disc is moved to the side... The points - (3) moves tight to the side handler and forces towards the sideline (1) stays tight to the central handler allowing no easy reset the the middle of the pitch (2) has some license to roam due to the throw to the far side handler being extremely difficult but must be ready to make a bid on a big swing. The mids - nearside mids (4,6) continue to work hard to shut out any under cut. Again the breakside mid (5) has license to roam to best help out either the other mids or the deep. (7) moves closer to the openside in an attempt to prevent the throw over the top of the mids and picks up any deep threat.
Again the mids pick up the players coming under and the deep watches the long whilst staying openside to make the throw as difficult as possible.
If the disc is dumped to the middle of the pitch, the zone goes back to how it was set up with a flat force (1) and (2,3) poaching the lanes.
With nothing though the middle, once again the disc is swung to the sideline and again the zone closes in.
