the Defense sets up the zone. Positions: 1=1, marks the disc 2=2, marks in the trap 3=3 4=breakside wing 5=middle wing 6=forceside wing 7=deep deep
spacing is key here, as too wide will leave holes open
the disc is swung to the breakside
positions 1,2,3 shift over, and resume their roles. the middle wing (5) can drop down to put pressure on the middle handler. The force side wing drop into space to guard against the hammer.

the cup and wings resume their position
the disc is swung to the force (trap) side
1 now marks the middle handler to prevent swings. 2 becomes the mark (no arounds). 3 marks upfield throws. the forceside wing drops down to become the 4th member of the trap. the middle wing marks throws over the top. the breakside wing defends against hammers
