Disc is pulled.
Vert Stack is set. Positions: 1,2= man d on handlers 3=force side wing 4=breakside wing 5=king 6=flex 7= deep deep
Offense starts cuts from rear of the stack
Force side Wing (3) seeing cutter coming into his space, and starts to guard him
7 has cleared out of the force side, so 3 passes that cutter off to the breakside wing (4)
After cutter 7 clears deep, the breakside wing passes him off the flex
The cutter setting the stack looks for a reset from the front by cutting force side. The king (5) is maintaining pressure on 3 while still preventing the i/o break from the handler to cutter 4, while the force side wing picks up cutter 3.
cutter 3 is covered, so he clears breakside, where the breakside wing picks him up,
cutter 3 then clears deep, and the breakside wing passes him off to the flex position
Cutter 3 then returns to the stack, and the king now marks the new cutter setting the stack, cutter 4
This is a flood. the offense brings 3 cutters into the open lane. This makes the force side wing commit to guarding one of them, leaving the other open
As a force side wing, you are responsible for picking up the cutter on the inside (the one closet to the stack).
The disc is then thrown to the open reciever, 3. However, we now have the disc trapped on the sideline, in the hands of a less threatening thrower.
after this throw goes off, the force side wing becomes the mark on the cutter. The king moves up field and becomes to fill the space left by the force side wing marking the cutter. The breakside wing then fills in on the front of the stack role, where the king was.
