Set Up Defense: D1 & D3 prevent throws up the sideline, D2 prevents the huck, D4 & D5 prevent throws under, and D6 & D7 defend the deep
D5 gets beat on an under throw. D2 is responsible for putting on a "no huck" mark on O6. D4 & D5 must drop into the throwing lane to anticipate the next downfield option and cut it off. D7 recognizes the deep threat and adjusts.
The handler O1 gets the swing. D1 prevents the continuation up the sideline.
Defense readjusts to address the biggest threat for each defender
When the disk is in the middle of the field, this defense excels. D4 & D5 are the most active positions on the field, constantly communicating with each other and the other defenders for assignment changes
The defense should yield high stalls, and force bad decisions that can be easily Defended
