Step by step 10 steps
  1. Step 1

This is the inital setup. Need a bunch of discs, four cones, and a good size group of players. The distance between the cones #1 and #2 are set up at is variable, closer will make the breakmark angles tougher and give the thrower less time to get a throw off (though this is plenty of value in running the drill close). Starting this drill with those two cones about 15-20 yards and the other cones 3 yards further away (and two yards to the side) is probably about right. The key thing in this drill to remember is you mark, you throw, and then you cut (and then cycle to the back of the other line). This should be done force backhand as well (it is setup force forehand here).

  2. Step 2

First cutter (Red #2 in this case) cuts away to cone). First thrower is Blue #1 and first marker is Red #1.

  3. Step 3

First cutter (Red #2) cuts 'under' to thrower. #1 Blue works to break the mark.

  4. Step 4

In 'red' line. The 'new' thrower/marker setup. Blue #1 is still working to break mark to Red #2 with Red #1 marking.

  7. Step 7

Red #2 runs through to clear to back of the 'blue' line. Red #1 becomes thrower (Blue #2 gives him/her the disc s/he was holding). Blue #2 moves to mark. Blue #1 cuts away to cone.
